Bardin Gate AMG

Use cases

Typical flows

  • Mail out of the internal network

The internal mail server, with no path of its own to the Internet, hands mail to the outer network's server.

  • Mail in from outside

Your outer gateway passes on mail it has already inspected, and AMG carries it across to the internal server.

  • Operational alerts

Monitoring notices from an isolated network reach the support team outside.

  • Government and sensitive networks

Email between separated government or sensitive environments.

  • Critical infrastructure and OT

Operational email between isolated infrastructure zones and the enterprise network.

  • Telecom and finance

Mail between operational, support and enterprise domains that must stay apart.

Before go-live

  • The appliance is racked and connected to the Safe, Unsafe and management networks.
  • Two mail servers with different fixed addresses and their TLS certificates are ready.
  • Commissioning has reached ready and its signed evidence has been exported.
  • The peers are entered and applied, and a test message has crossed in both directions.
  • The SIEM destination is set and events arrive; deferral and near-expiry alerts exist in your monitoring.
  • A configuration export is stored safely; repeat it after every change.
