Bardin Gate ARP
What ARP works with
Your file servers
ARP connects out to the folders your systems already write to. Nothing is installed on them, and no port is opened toward the appliance.
| Protocol | Credential | How the peer is identified |
|---|---|---|
| rsync over SSH | SSH key | Pinned host key |
| SMB3 | Kerberos, with signing and encryption | Service name and realm |
| SFTP | SSH key | Pinned host key |
Your SIEM
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Direction | One-way, from the appliance to your SIEM |
| Transport | TCP over TLS by default, optional mutual TLS |
| Formats | RFC 5424 JSON or CEF |
| What is sent | Every security, administrative and business-critical attempt and outcome |
| What is never sent | File content, credentials, tokens and private keys |
One configuration file
Every setting of the appliance lives in one versioned file: hosts, routes, policies, approvals and retention. Import it on a replacement appliance and every route returns. The file carries no secrets; after an import only the SSH keys are entered again and the hosts pinned again.
