Which Bardin Gate product fits
Choose by what has to cross
| Product | What it moves | Who starts it | How it crosses |
|---|---|---|---|
| ARP | Files, in recurring flows | Systems, with no person in the path | Each route defined on its own, with its own policy and optional approval |
| ART | One file at a time | An identified person | An Agent on the user's computer, fixed destinations and approval by policy |
| AMG | Your two mail servers | A transparent SMTP relay with a durable queue | |
| ABV | Backup data | Your backup schedule | Read from the backup network, written to the isolated recovery side |
| ADS | Selected database changes | Your databases | Synchronised under explicit direction control |
| Light | A network connection | An operator | One physical path at a time, at Layer 1 |
ARP or ART?
Both carry files across the same boundary. They differ in who starts the movement. Choose ART when an identified person sends a specific file for a specific reason, and the record must show who asked and who approved. Choose ARP when systems exchange files as routine work and nobody should stand in the path of each file. Both can run side by side, on the same isolation principle.
